Advancing the process of creating and sustaining the built environment.

"The Mission of CSI is to advance the process of creating and sustaining the built environment." By using the diversity and expertise of its membership to develop and exchange knowledge, the Institute seeks to be recognized worldwide as the indispensable resource for information on improving that process – this is CSI’s vision for the future. The Dayton-Miami Valley Chapter of CSI is a collection of architects, engineers, contractors, technical support experts, product representatives, and building managers, all dedicated to improving and sustaining the non-residential construction industry in the Dayton market and beyond. The core belief is that, through continued education and fellowship, we can better serve the community in design, process, and quality.

2015 CSI Dayton/Miami Valley’s 5th Procrastination Education Day

Thank you Past President Todd Poeppelmeier and
Welcome President Rodney Rusnak!

For the past two years, Todd Poeppelmeier (The Garland Company) served as the President of CSI Dayton/Miami Valley. During his term, the Chapter successfully presented two Construction Products Shows; continued offering Procrastination Education programs; arranged for tours of the GE Aviation EPISCenter, the Milton Union School Campus, and a Passive House in Yellow Springs; and hosted numerous education and networking meetings. Under Todd’s leadership, the Chapter fulfilled its core belief that through continued education and fellowship, we can better serve the community in design, process, and quality. The Dayton/Miami Valley Chapter of CSI HAS appreciated the effort and commitment shown by President Poeppelmeier to the Chapter Members and guests. With the passing of the torch, CSI Dayton/Miami Valley welcomes Rodney Rusnak (Heapy Engineering) as its incoming President. Rod will chair the Chapter through June, 2016 with Randy Fox (AGC West Central Ohio Division) as President-Elect and Bill Epperson (Montgomery County) as Secretary/Treasurer. Good luck is extended to President Rusnak and the Chapter Board as the local Members look forward to the future.
